What is a Jitney, you ask? The Jitney is a means of transportation, similar to a small bus that can fit roughly 15-20 people at a time. In recent years, they have become more common in a few beach towns in South Jersey for the public to access. Since driving and parking can be a hassle in the summer months at the shore, Shorebreak Resorts offers their guests a way to travel between Sea Isle City and Ocean City- two wonderful towns that offer different ways to have a fun night out. This is a favorable service for vacationers to have a fun night out, with a safe ride home. On your ride, you can arrive and depart from three stops. In Sea Isle, stop at Beachwood Restaurant & Bar at The Dunes or Ludlam Bar & Grill by Ludlam Hotel. In Ocean City, guests can enjoy the famous boardwalk, getting dropped off just a block away! Read on to learn more about using the Jitney this summer.
