The holiday season is almost here, and we have the perfect event for you to kickstart a festive spirit! This Thanksgiving weekend, Friday, November 25th through Sunday, November 27th, spend some time with family and friends in Sea Isle City, NJ at the first annual Winter Village at the Ludlam.
There will be ice skating, holiday craft vendors, Sea Isle Spiked Iced Tea giveaways, adult holiday beverage tastings, cookie decorating, Celtic Christmas dancers and much more! Ice Skating
Nothing sparks winter joy quite like ice skating! Sea Isle once hosted a holiday event with an ice rink and now it is back thanks to Ludlam! Over Thanksgiving weekend, both adults and children can skate on the ice rink brought to you by CP Rankin Roofing Experts! The cost is just $5 per child and adults will be $10 with skate rentals included! That Friday evening, Sea Isle City will be hosting their annual Tree Lighting ceremony and holiday parade. What better way to embrace the festivities than by hitting the ice skating rink before or after? Friday’s skating hours are 5pm-9pm. On Saturday, the rink will be running from 1pm-9pm, and Sunday’s hours will be 11am-3pm.
Craft Vendors
The holiday season is a time of giving! Get some of your Christmas shopping done while at Ludlam Winter Village, and maybe treat yourself to something fun too. Many of Sea Isle’s businesses will have specials throughout their shops in town for Small Business Saturday and the Ludlam will host a holiday shopping village. We will have over 20-holiday craft vendors in the Ludlam courtyard to sell their products. If you are interested in becoming a vendor, make sure to let the event coordinator know! Sign up today!
Live Music
You can’t celebrate the holidays without Christmas music! We will have live music all weekend long, right inside our lounge. Join us Friday 5pm-9pm for Jim Bannach and Saturday from 2 pm-4pm for Celtic Christmas Band + The Celtic Flame School of Irish Dance. Plus, we will have the Dueling Pianos close out the night on Saturday from 6pm-10pm. You don’t want to miss out on all the entertainment!
Visits from Santa
Santa Claus is coming to town! Bring the kids to Winter Village for a visit with Santa, and an opportunity for you to snag some cute photos while your little ones meet with the big man in red! Santa will be outside from 3pm-5pm on Saturday and inside our lounge on Sunday from 12pm-2pm. What a great way to kick off the holidays!
Eat, Drink and Be Merry
The holiday season seems to go hand-in-hand with sweet treats and merriment. Shorebreak Cafe will be open all weekend long for cookie kits, hot chocolate, and everything you could need to fill that sweet tooth! If your friends or family love to bake, enter for a chance to win a gift card to Shorebreak Cafe by creating a homemade gingerbread house and enter it into the gingerbread house competition! Ludlam Bar & Grill will offer samples of Sea Isle Spiked Iced Tea and Misunderstood Whiskey tastings throughout the weekend. There will be special giveaways and tastings; don’t forget to take pictures of the ice throne while you’re there!
