With everything going on right now in the world, traveling can be quite tricky and unsafe. The good thing about the shore is that it is in close proximity to a lot of avid beach-goers. If you and your family and/or friends are looking for a place to have a staycation, where you can get out of the house, the shore is the perfect spot. Our properties in Ocean City and Sea Isle City offer convenience and flexibility! There is only a one to three minimum night stay required and we offer flexible check-in/check-out days. Any day of the week works at Shorebreak Resorts. Stay for a weekend or stay for a week. A vacation is a vacation no matter what your time-frame is.
Rental homes on the shore usually require a minimum of a week to book for a typical stay. The Dunes at Shorebreaks in Sea Isle only requires a three-night minimum stay in the summer and just a two-night stay after Labor Day weekend. The condos at The Dunes have three bedrooms, and the largest condo has six bedrooms with six and a half bathrooms. No matter what your party size is, we can accommodate for your getaways. Our Ocean City locations only have a one-night minimum, and are suitable for couples, families, or a group of friends!
2. Local Eats & Treats
Memories down the shore are often associated with nostalgic food and treats that you can only enjoy at the shore. Places on and off of the Ocean City Boardwalk and the Sea Isle Promenade are continuously finding unique ways to stay open to ensure that their loyal customers are still getting their favorite foods. A lot of local eateries are now offering pick-up options and outside dining areas. Beachwood At The Dunes in Sea Isle is providing their customers with curbside pick-up, curbside dining, and for a laid-back dining experience, they have created a fun space with picnic benches and live music performances. Another shore favorite, Manco & Manco Pizza in Ocean City also offers curbside pick-up and delivery anywhere in Ocean City.
There’s also a lot of fun nightlife scenes on and near OCNJ. Smitty’s Clam Bar is known for its great food and friendly atmosphere. Perfect for a family dinner or a quick bar stop for cocktails and clams! You can also visit the deck bar Crabby Jacks at the Crab Trap Restaurant right across the 9th Street bridge in Somers Point for a night out.
3. Attractions
The Ocean City Boardwalk is open with new safety guidelines. The boardwalk has a variety of attractions from amusement parks, water parks, games, skate parks and playgrounds that are great for kids of all ages (including adults). The beautiful beaches of Ocean City and Sea Isle City are accessible for enjoyment with tons of watersports, boat tours and rentals, and fishing and crabbing docks.
Playland's Castaway Cove has fun carnival games and rides to enjoy along the boardwalk. From mini-golf to escape rooms, there's something for everyone. If you’re looking for shopping in OCNJ, Stainton’s offers a collection of more than 70 distinctive shops with unique merchandise from candles to jewelry and clothing. Just being on the boardwalk during the day or at night is a fun experience in itself.
We also can’t forget about the beach of course! Ocean City has eight miles of beautiful sandy beaches perfect for soaking in the sun or strolling on in the early morning or evenings. The Ebb Tide Suites, Wild Dunes Inn, Impala Island Inn and soon to be Impala Suites are all a part of Shorebreak Resorts and are just steps from the beach and boardwalk!
4. New & Improved Guest Services
This summer, Shorebreak Resorts incorporated a new way to accommodate guests and provide a unique service for their customers. Throughout the summer months, Shorebreak now offers free roundtrip Jitney transportation between their properties in Sea Isle and Ocean City. This service is exclusive to guests of Shorebreak Resorts; The Dunes, The Impala Island Inn, The Ebb Tide Suites, The Wild Dunes Inn, and the soon to be Impala Suites. Ocean City, New Jersey is a dry town. This service allows Ocean City guests to enjoy a fun night with drinks and delicious food, while providing a safe way back to your rooms. The Sea Isle City guests of Shorebreak will get to enjoy a fun evening out with family and friends on the OC Boardwalk without having to worry about parking or an expensive Uber ride home.
The pick-up/drop off locations for the Jitney are in very convenient spots. For The Dunes in Sea Isle, the pick-up/drop off location is on Landis Ave. outside of the restaurant & bar Beachwood at The Dunes, just a few steps away from your condo! For all guests at all Shorebreak properties in Ocean City, the pick-up/drop off location is in the parking lot at the Impala Island Inn. This ends on Labor Day for the season and there will be more updates on the website for next summer!
