Sea Isle City is a beloved beach town in South Jersey where families and vacationers have been visiting for over 100 years. With the increase of homeowners using their beach houses as second homes rather than renting them out, the demand for a place for vacationers to stay is higher than ever! Luckily, The Dunes at Shorebreak Resorts offers 27 rental condos in the south end of the island. All but one condo has a minimum of three bedrooms, and three full bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining area, living room, covered parking space, private washer and dryer, and still provides a comfortable sense of being home. Different from traditional weekly rentals by the beach, guests can even check in at The Dunes any day of the week. During the summer, there is a 3-night minimum but in the off-season, there is only a 2-night minimum. Beds are made, and towels, toiletries, soaps, and detergents are supplied to get you started. Each location comes with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and cable television, too. Even if you are only able to stay for a quick trip, The Dunes is the perfect place to decompress for a much-needed escape.
The three buildings that host the 27 condos are each one-level and are spread throughout three buildings; The Dunes, The Cove, and The Cape. Each location is close to the bay and beach. Read on to learn more about all three properties!
The Dunes
In the early 1900s, the Townsends Inlet area hosted hotels, restaurants, a civic center, trolley station, and more. Constructing the 3 mixed-use buildings that make up The Dunes brought life back to the area to what it once was. The Dunes was the first of three buildings to be developed. The first floor consists of a restaurant & bar called Beachwood at The Dunes, and an event space called The Breakwaters at The Dunes. The 13 rental condos here all have a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room and sleep between 8-10 people. The building offers a shared elevator that goes down into the covered, underground parking garage. This building offers two designated parking spaces for each unit.
The Cove
The Cove is the second building that came to fruition, with six rental units on the second and third floors. On the first floor, you will find a restaurant, Sole, and boutique to enjoy on your vacation! Being located on the east side of Landis Avenue makes this building a little closer to the beautiful beaches of Sea Isle City. One of the units here sleeps up to 12 guests, boasting 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms! Each condo has one parking space, and the 6-bedroom unit has 4 parking spaces.
Every condo here is also completely accessible for wheelchairs, including the shared elevator. Each condo at The Cove can accommodate six to twelve people, depending on the unit. There is a shared, open deck on the second floor, and each condo also has a private deck.
The Cape
The Cape is our newest location in Townsends Inlet, with the second and third floors of the establishment hosting nine condominiums. The first floor of the building is home to Blitz’s Market, so don’t forget to pick up your lunch essentials before heading to the beach!
When staying at The Cape, you will experience a warm and cozy environment close to the beach. Each condo at The Cove is one-level and can accommodate up to six people. The suites offer a full kitchen, living room, dining area, and private balcony. All but one condo has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, while one unique condo has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. All condos can be accessed by stairs or by the shared elevator next to the parking garage, and all condos are wheelchair accessible too!
NEW! Check-In Process
We have a new check-in process for all reservations at The Dunes, The Cove, and The Cape! The real estate office where guests pick up keys to their rental condo has been relocated. Guests will now pick up check-in packets from Shorebreak Realty’s office in the center of town at 4006 Landis Ave, Suite 100 Sea Isle City, NJ 08243.
If you happen to get to town early, then be sure to try Ludlam Bar & Grill for lunch, located right next to the real estate office! They have a full bar and fresh menu serving everything from Ahi-Tuna tacos, burgers, pizza, salads, crab cakes, and more. They have a laid-back atmosphere and are family-friendly, so everyone can enjoy!
