Spring is officially here! The days are getting a little longer and the weather is warming up, which means it's a great time of year to escape to the shore. Beat out the summer crowds to enjoy the sunshine and relaxation Springtime brings when you’re by the sea. Many beach towns offer family-friendly events for people to enjoy the shore before the crazy crowds take over!
Sea Isle City and Ocean City are some of New Jersey’s most beloved beach towns in the South Jersey area. Their communities offer great excuses to head to their areas and have some fun in the weeks leading up to Memorial Day weekend!
Kicking off with Easter-inspired events, Sea Isle is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on April 6th at Dealy Field and a Spring Fling Family Fun Day at Excursion Park on April 16th. The Spring Family Fun Day will have face painting, crafts, egg decorating, the Easter Bunny, and more. Ocean City will host a Great Easter Egg Hunt on the Boardwalk, between 6th and 14th Streets on both April 9th and 16th.
Both cities kick-off Spring with an Annual Girls Weekend, to offer great deals in stores around town and fun for girls of all ages! Ocean City’s will take place from April 1st to April 3rd. There is a Fashion Show on Friday at the Ocean City Yacht Club and deals on shops throughout the stores downtown on Asbury Avenue. Sea Isle City’s Girls Weekend is a little later on the weekend of April 29th to May 1st. There are great deals throughout town at local shops, boutiques, restaurants, and bars!
