September at the Shore

September at the Shore is the perfect time to explore new places, try new eateries and find fun fall events taking place to enjoy with family and friends. Once Labor Day is over, prices at most coastal accommodations tend to be much more affordable compared to summer months, which makes for a great reason to plan a quick getaway to explore all that the shore has to offer! Frequent shore-goers and year-round residents claim that September is the best month of the year to visit, due to the perfect weather, fewer crowds, and the activities still available. We, at Shorebreak would agree, and here are a few popular events going on and special rates at different locations for your September at the Shore!

Dunes

Live band on stage

Extra Entertainment - It’s not everyday you get to enjoy a big band in a shore town. On Saturday, September 18th Boat House Row Band will be taking over the lounge at the Beach Bar in the center of Sea Isle City. This fun and energetic group is from the Philadelphia area and will be rocking all the great soft tunes from the ’70s and ’80s. Known as performing in a “Yacht Rock” genre, they offer smooth and mellow music that is fun to jam out to. They’re known for being equally entertaining with their music and comedic comments, so don’t miss out on a great time out at the shore!

They’re performing from 8pm- 11pm, but head over to the Beach Bar early to get the good times going before the show. Tickets are just $20 a person, so claim yours before they sell out!
