The Breakwaters Wedding Venue
The Breakwaters at The Dunes is the event space located within Beachwood Restaurant in the southend of Sea Isle City, known as Townsends Inlet. This event space can be reserved for numerous events such as business meetings, corporate retreats, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners, art shows, wine tastings, charity fundraisers, and of course, weddings! The 1,200-square-foot space is perfect for holding an intimate affair with as little as 25 guests to large-scale weddings that hold up to 250 people.
Floor to ceiling windows along the main wall of the ballroom provide a wonderful aesthetic and create the perfect place to take pictures of your special day that you will cherish for the rest of your life. The room is filled with a neutral palette, so any color or design you wish to fill the space with will blend in (or stand out) in a perfect manner.
We utilize the dynamic, airy aesthetic to transform the space into various special occasions. Whether you are looking for something intimate, a three-course dinner, cocktail reception, or a full-service 5-hour plated event; you can build the event of your dreams at The Breakwaters. There are options for cocktail hour on a large, outdoor deck or the restaurant in the room next door, and then dance the night away in the Ballroom. The Breakwaters is completely versatile and sure to make your wedding dreams come true.

We have 27 rental suites at The Dunes and 24 hotel rooms at Ludlam Hotel downtown. The Dunes consists of 27 one-level condos throughout three buildings: The Dunes, The Cove, and The Cape, each in the same proximity to the beach, bay, and each other. We have suites ranging from 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms to 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, which are perfect for larger groups and bridal parties! You can spend the morning getting ready with your bridesmaids or groomsmen and take gorgeous pictures with plenty of natural light.
The Dunes are located on the south side of Townsends Inlet, with the bay right outside and the beach a short walk away. The Dunes, The Cape, and The Cove are all conveniently located around quaint shops and restaurants to enjoy outside of your stay or event.
In addition to The Dunes, Shorebreak Resorts also offers rooms at Ludlam Hotel, located in the heart of Sea Isle.
The Ludlam Hotel has recently been renovated and offers 24 hotel rooms that each have two queen-sized beds and a full bathroom. It is conveniently located in the center of town, near all the hotspots in Sea Isle.
An added bonus of Ludlam Hotel is that right next door is Shorebreak Cafe, filled with made-from-scratch pastries and freshly brewed coffee. It is a great place to grab a quick breakfast or cool down with some ice cream in the afternoon.
