Your favorite community events are back and will get you in the spirit of an everlasting summer.
Starting May 28, The Unlocking of the Ocean and Business Persons Plunge will take place. Participants dress in business suits, carry briefcases, and march into the ocean to the strains of Pomp and Circumstance to welcome the new season. In June, you can look forward to Ocean City’s Restaurant Week. From June 14 through June 19, fixed price specials at participating Ocean City Restaurants will take place. Celebrate the Fourth of July in Ocean City, with a kite flying competition at 7:00 p.m. followed by entertainment on the beach next to the Music Pier. A spectacular boardwalk fireworks show will close out the evening.

Sea Isle City
Just as Ocean City is bringing back some local favorite events, Sea Isle is also ready to welcome you back.
On May 22, the Environmental Commission will host its annual Beachcomber Bash from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Spend this time with your friends and family discovering the treasures the sea has left on the shore.
For those of you who like to stay active, Sea Isle’s 7th annual “Sea Isle Stomps Cancer” 5k/walk is back. This will take place June 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. rain or shine.
Also starting June 26 is “Free Concerts Under the Stars” which takes place every weekend at Excursion Park. There is free admission for everyone, so bring your friends or family and enjoy the music. Don’t forget to bring your beach chairs and blankets!
Let’s not forget about the Fourth of July in Sea Isle. Sea Isle City is the perfect place to celebrate our Nation’s Independence. Wrap up the day with a colorful fireworks display. The Fireworks Show will take place at 9:00 p.m., launched from an ocean barge near the 50th Street beach.
