Holidays Down the Shore

Thanks to Ludlam Hotel, Bar & Grill, the South Jersey Shore has officially kicked off the holiday spirit after they just wrapped up their first ever Winter Village at The Ludlam. It was a huge success featuring holiday shopping vendors, an ice skating rink, food truck, live music, bonfires, Celtic Christmas music & dancers, visits from Santa, and more! Make sure to mark your calendars for Thanksgiving weekend next year, you won’t want to miss it. Now December is here and the holiday season is in full swing down the shore! With numerous holiday activities in Sea Isle City, NJ and Ocean City, NJ this month, we can’t think of a more magical time of year to visit your favorite beach towns. These events are fun for both family and friends to enjoy together, residents and non-residents, a-like. Sea Isle City

Many Sea Isle residents and businesses are participating in a holiday lighting competition, with prizes going to the top winners! What better way to get in the spirit than seeing Christmas lights and decorations? The contest will run on December 8th, so that is the best day to see everything in action. On Sunday, December 11th at 11 am, Sea Isle City VFW Post 1963, in cooperation with City Recreation, will host brunch with Santa! This event is for children ages ten and younger. This event will take place at SIC VFW, 301 JFK Blvd. Seating is limited, so sign up as soon as possible. First come, first serve. Call 609-263-0050 to secure your family’s seating now!

What’s better than fireworks over the ocean? Ring in the new year in Sea Isle City and enjoy a wonderful display of the annual fireworks! This New Year’s Eve event will occur at JFK Blvd Beach and begin at 8pm sharjp. Bring the whole family or your group of friends and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display while ringing in 2023!

The Dunes

Located in Townsends Inlet, Sea Isle’s southend, The Dunes Luxury Suites are the finest and most convenient properties to rent in Sea Isle City. The 27 condos are able to be rented for a minimum of just two nights in the off-season, and guests can check in any day of the week. Most of the condos have three bedrooms and 3 to 3.5 bathrooms, with the smallest one having three bedrooms and two full bathrooms and the largest one having six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Ocean City

Ocean City’s Christmas Parade is coming to town on Friday, December 2, from 6 pm to 7 pm. The parade route will run downtown on Asbury Ave between 6th Street and 12th Street. This family-friendly event is the perfect kickoff to the holiday season!

Head to Ocean City over December 16th-18th to watch a cast of professional singers and dancers perform song and dance numbers at the Ocean City Holiday Spectacular. There will be special guests, exciting costumes, and even special effects. The Holiday Spectacular will take place with shows on December 16th & 17th at 7:30 pm & December 17th & 18th 2 pm. It will take place at the Music Pier. You can purchase tickets online!

Ocean City has a huge celebration called First Night and this year marks its 30th year! This unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration offers over 70 entertainment programs at 20 different venues throughout town and takes place on Saturday, December 31st and it starts at 2 pm. There are two musical headliners, Brass Transit and STAYIN’ ALIVE! A new band will also be featured, Captain Jack Band, which offers a Billy Joel Tribute Band experience. There will also be a performance of Motown and Disco hits by The Sensational Soul Cruisers in the Hughes Performing Arts Center. A fireworks display rings in the new year at midnight, and the celebrations continue on January 1st with a 5-K on the Boardwalk and the First Plunge in the Atlantic Ocean!
